Anto Grgic is to make an immediate loan move from VfB to FC Sion in Switzerland. The Super League club have secured the services of the midfielder for 18 months, until June 30th, 2019. Anto Grgic made the move from FC Zürich to VfB in July 2016 and has since made sixteen appearances in the jersey with the infamous red hoop. So far this season, the 21-year-old has been involved in one Bundesliga and one DFB-Cup match.

"For a young player like Anto Grgic, it’s particularly important to play as much regular football as possible and gather some match practice. Due to injury problems and the competition for places at VfB in his position, he very rarely got the opportunity to play in recent months. The loan more to Switzerland is exactly the right step for Anto and we wish him all the very best there."
