Sustainable operations are part of today’s modern business culture. VfB Stuttgart’s sustainable operations are focused on three pillars of sustainability – financial, environmental and social – and as such are in line with the United Nations’ global sustainability goals.

In the long term, VfB Stuttgart is looking to become one of the most responsible football clubs in Germany, with a particular focus on improving its greenhouse gas balance in all three aspects, since these emissions have a highly negative influence on the environment. The greenhouse gas balance is calculated annually at the beginning of every year.
