Andreas Grupp was born on 25 November 1983 in Albstadt-Ebingen. He grew up in the Swabian Alb and spent most of his childhood and youth in Trochtelfingen. Andreas was voted onto the executive committee of VfB Stuttgart 1893 e.V. at the general assembly in July 2024. On 22 March 2025, the general assembly confirmed him in office. The executive committee chose him as vice president. As a representative of the club, he is also a member of the supervisory board of VfB Stuttgart 1893 AG.
He spent time in America and England during his studies. After completing a master’s degree at Reutlingen University, Andreas began his professional career at ALDI Süd. Since then he’s worked for ALDI in various leadership positions within the company both in Germany and abroad. As real estate director, he’s been in charge of ALDI’s entire property portfolio in the region of Aichtal since 2018.
A fitness fanatic, he enjoys going to the gym, running, cycling and skiing, and lives with his girlfriend in Reutlingen.
