Liverpool are coming to Stuttgart! The Reds are the U19s’ opponents in the UEFA Youth League round of 32, after the draw was made at UEFA headquarters in Nyon on Friday. It was already established before the draw that VfB would have home advantage in the round of 32 having finished in an impressive fifth place in the table in the league phase, which earned Nico Willig’s side a home tie against one of the teams placed 17th to 22nd. Liverpool finished 19th in the league phase. The match will be played on 11 or 12 February at the GAZi-Stadion, with the exact date and time as well as ticket information to be announced by UEFA in January.
