TV9 Network, by far India’s largest and widest-reaching news media company, is hosting the first international News9 Global Summit at the MHP Arena Stuttgart from 21 to 23 November 2024. Over the three days of the event, top Indian and German decision-makers from business, science, politics and sport will discuss specific topics from the present and future in line with this year’s theme of ‘India and Germany - a roadmap for sustainable growth’.
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the participants via a live broadcast. Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, Information and Broadcasting, and Electronics and Information Technology, as well as Jyotiraditya Scindia, Minister for Communications and Development, will be present in Stuttgart on behalf of the Indian government, accompanied by a delegation of top decision-makers from major Indian companies. As a supporter of the event, the state of Baden-Württemberg is looking forward to welcoming the international guests to the state capital, in conjunction with joint-hosts VfB Stuttgart.
The distinguished line-up of speakers includes Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture and Federal Minister of Education and Research, Cem Özdemir; Baden-Württemberg’s Minister-President Winfried Kretschmann; State Secretary Florian Hassler; retired Minister-President and EU Commissioner Günther H. Oettinger; Lord Mayor of Stuttgart Dr Frank Nopper and Prof Dr Andreas W. Bett, Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE. VfB Stuttgart will be represented at the News9 Global Summit by Rouven Kasper, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, as well as club legends Cacau, Guido Buchwald, Hansi Müller and Timo Hildebrand.
