Dietmar Allgaier will continue as president of VfB Stuttgart 1893 e.V. Of the 1,511 members entitled to vote, 1,487 cast their ballot, with 58-year-old Allgaier receiving 1,315 of them (91.51 per cent). Jochen Haas (162 votes) and Pierre-Enric Steiger (244 votes) also stood for the office.
Members are allowed to vote for more than one candidate in elections for President.

“Thank you very much for the trust and the simultaneous vote of confidence,” Allgaier said to the members present after the election. “I am aware of the great responsibility this entails and would like to continue to show great commitment in helping our club to develop and advance.” Allgaier’s term of office is five years and will run until 2030.
Grupp and Jung complete VfB Executive Committee
Andreas Grupp and Stefan Jung, who were elected as members of the Executive Committee at the general meeting in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, now form the three-member VfB Executive Committee alongside Allgaier, with a similar term of office of five years. Grupp received 1,074 votes, Jung 630. Of the other candidates, Dr Bertram Sugg received 441 votes, Bernadette Martini 392 and Michael Reichel 167.
