Just days after beginning their pre-season preparations for the 2023/24 campaign, VfB Stuttgart played their first friendly of the summer in Schwäbisch Hall on Sunday. In front of a crowd of 4,180 spectators at the Optima Sportpark, head coach Sebastian Hoeneß’ side earned a 3-0 victory.
Head coach Sebastian Hoeneß: “First of all, I’d like to say a big thank you to the fans for coming to watch us. We’re pleased we were able to play the game in such a nice setting. It was our first game after three training sessions so far, and you could tell that was the case. The important thing for us is to make sure all the boys come through pre-season fit and healthy.”
