Season over for Beck

Andreas Beck suffered a meniscus tear in his right knee during Saturday’s match at Hertha Berlin and will require surgery.

The operation will take place shortly, after which Beck is expected to be sidelined for between four and six weeks. He will therefore not feature again this season.

The 32-year-old has made a total of 74 Bundesliga appearances for VfB, 24 of which have come during the current campaign.
