Uwe Gospodarek leaves VfB

Goalkeeping coach Uwe Gospodarek’s contract, which was due to run until 30 June 2022, has been terminated by mutual consent.

Gospodarek joined VfB as goalkeeping coach in summer 2019. Over the past two years, the 47-year-old former shot-stopper, who made 332 competitive appearances in his playing career across the Bundesliga, Bundesliga 2 and various European club competitions, had led the training of first-team goalkeepers Gregor Kobel, Fabian Bredlow and Jens Grahl.
