Deniz Undav is Player of the Month

Our striker Deniz Undav has been voted Bundesliga Player of the Month for November, beating off competition from fellow nominees Harry Kane, Leroy Sane (both FC Bayern Munich), Jeremie Frimpong, Alejandro Grimaldo (both Bayer 04 Leverkusen) and Xavi Simons (RB Leipzig).

Undav started all three of VfB’s Bundesliga games in November and scored three goals, including his second Bundesliga brace in the away win against Eintracht Frankfurt.

“I’m very pleased to be Player of the Month,” said the 27-year-old. “I’d like to thank all the fans who voted for me and made this possible for me.”
