Perea off to Rostock on loan

VfB and Bundesliga 2 side FC Hansa Rostock have agreed terms on the loan of Juan Perea with immediate effect for the coming season. Perea joined VfB from Greek top-flight club PAS Giannina last season and went on to make 19 appearances for the lads from Cannstatt, scoring one goal.  

“Juan has shown real fighting spirit and has been absolutely exemplary in terms of his commitment,” said VfB sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth. “For his future development, it’s important for him to get as much playing time as possible at the highest level, and everything is in place for that to happen at Hansa Rostock. As such, we’re convinced that a loan to Rostock is a positive step for Juan.”
