Jacob Bruun Larsen has shaken off his cold and returned to full team training. “I’m happy to be back with the team,” said the 26-year-old, who moved to VfB from TSG Hoffenheim in January. “I missed the boys. I’m really looking forward to the next game. It won’t be an easy task on Sunday in Hoffenheim, which makes it all the more important that we’ll have our magnificent fans behind us again away from home.”

There also was positive news for El Bilal, who is likewise back in action. The forward, who suffered a broken foot while on international duty for Mali in November last year, is not yet training with his team-mates again, but did complete an individual programme alongside his colleagues and is making progress.
