Deniz Undav suffers hamstring strain

The striker pulled his left hamstring during the match against Atalanta.

There were 55 minutes on the clock in the UEFA Champions League encounter between VfB Stuttgart and Atalanta on Wednesday evening, when Deniz Undav had to leave the pitch with an injury and was replaced by Ermedin Demirovic. It has now been confirmed that the VfB striker suffered a strain in his left hamstring.

Undav’s participation in the upcoming Bundesliga match against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday 10 November (17:30 CET) is doubtful, but not ruled out.
