Hannes Wolf: „For us it was a wonderful win. None of us came here thinking we that we were just making the trip to pick up the points. It was clear to us that we would have to put a lot of work in and that’s exactly how we approached the match. Defensively we were very stable, but without convincingly clearing every situation with ease. Going forward, we initially had problems putting moves together, but during the course of the second period, we pressed them back into their own half. Of course there are always moments and phases during which you could play better, but we worked very hard, showing the necessary mentality and aggression. This win is a good start to mark the direction we intend to take in the coming months."
Daniel Ginczek: "It was a tough and not necessarily pretty win. We know we didn’t do everything right, but we are very happy to be taking all three points back home with us. The move which led to the winning goal was very well put together."
Kevin Großkreutz: "We rose to the challenge convincingly. It wasn’t an easy surface to play on. We did well though and are very happy about taking three very important points."
