Hannes Wolf: "I am satisfied with the display from my team – particularly in the first-half. We got the ball going forward well and deservedly took the lead. Aside from the two goals we got, we also had a couple of other good openings. We controlled the game in the second-half too, although we weren’t quite so convincing. The one thing that does bother me is that in the last 20 minutes, we lost the centre of the park and allowed Düsseldorf to come at us – which could have seen them reduce the deficit to 1-2. On the whole, I am satisfied with the energy and pace with which we played the game, but also with how we defended."
Julian Green: "This game was a lot of fun. We played particularly well in the first-half. There were a couple of counter-attacks which we could have made more effective use of and we could have taken an even more convincing advantage into the break. I’m delighted to have been able to help the team with my goal – that’s something I work hard every day to do."
Simon Terodde: "We put on a decent display here tonight, but we really could have made more of the chances that we created for ourselves. In the end though, all that counts are the three points and we can consider ourselves satisfied to have them."
