Hannes Wolf: “Of course we’re disappointed with the result. We played well in the first half, controlled the game and had a great chance with Takuma Asano. It was never a foul for the free-kick that led to the goal, but Bremen did well to take it quickly. In the second half I wasn’t as happy. We didn’t show enough conviction but even so we ought to have done more with the chances we created. At the end of the day it was an unlucky defeat but there were positives for us to work on going forward.”
Christian Gentner: “We had a great chance of taking something from this game, just as we have done in other away games, which makes it all the more frustrating to come away empty handed. We needed to be more alert when they took the free-kick quickly ahead of the goal.”
Andreas Beck: “We just lacked the final touch. The way we played today, there’s no way we should be leaving here without a point.”
